Woman trolled for wearing white lace floor-length dress to wedding
There is really only one major dress code rule when attending a wedding: do not wear a white dress.
However, it seems not everyone got the memo, with one brave (or silly) woman deciding to rock up to her friend’s wedding in a FLOOR LENGTH WHITE LACE DRESS.
Yep, someone seriously did that.
Posting in an unknown Facebook group, one woman has asked for style advice for what hair and make-up to go best with her wedding dress. That is, the dress she’s going to be wearing to a wedding where she isn’t the bride but is dressing like one.
“Ladies, can I get some hair and makeup suggestions for this dress? I'm attending a destination wedding next week. P.S… my hair is brown and I have straight bangs. Tyia,” wrote the brave wedding guest alongside a mirror selfie of herself in the suspiciously bridal-looking outfit.

The post was then screenshotted and shared in a group called that’s it I’m wedding shaming. And boy, did the people in the group let rip.
"HELL NO. If she attends a wedding in that, she better expect to be immediately escorted out,” wrote one passionate commenter.
“Why is it so hard for people to just not wear white for a few hours,” wrote another.
Another suggested: “Omg she would be getting thrown in the sea on that destination wedding.”
However, not everyone was convinced this was a wedding guest fashion mistake, with one commenter writing “She knows exactly what she’s doing.”
“This is exactly the kind of outfit someone would wear who was trying to stop a wedding.”
We think this guest is causing a little stir online for a bit of attention – well, we hope.
