Wife shames husband's epic cooking failure and considers a divorce: 'What am I looking at?'

A woman has considered divorcing her husband after his epic failure at attempting to cook.

She shared a photo of what was meant to be cheese on toast... but the lack of cheese got her questioning whether the relationship was worth staying in.

Taking to online forum Reddit to ask others for advice, the woman wrote: "Divorce, or stay together for the children?"

Apparently she had asked her husband to make her toast and he presented her with this rather soggy looking piece of bread.

And to add insult to injury, he added four slices of thickly cut cheese in various sizes - but didn't leave the bread under the grill long enough for them to melt.

The result was this poorly-looking meal that his wife then shared online.

The comments the photo received were mostly in favour of the woman ditching her husband.

"Divorce and do a swap with me and my boyfriend," one user wrote.

"That's how he makes cheese on toast. They'd be a perfect match, and we can live a happy life together with proper cheese coverage."

While another said: "What? That's not even remotely cheese on toast. It's barely cheese on bread."

Others thought the un-melted cheese slices were actually butter.

"What am I looking at? No seriously, is that butter put on really thick in chunks not spread or is that cheese on toast? If so what the hell happened?! On cheese rations?!"

Another said: "Blimey, you're in the doghouse for something. A discussion is needed to determine how to go forward after being presented with that."

One of the most popular comments suggested the man had deliberately done a bad job when asked to make his wife a snack.

"Looks like malicious incompetence to me - that's the kind of thing that is produced by a person who doesn't want to be asked to make food again," the person wrote.
