Woman who ran down boyfriend after fight charged with murder

A woman has been charged with murder for allegedly running down her boyfriend after an argument.
Danisha Mathis, 20, allegedly killed her boyfriend, Terrence Ricks Jr., in a hit-and-run last Tuesday night in Michigan after the couple had reportedly been arguing, CBS NewsCBS News
Police said Ricks, 25, had been running away from Mathis when she allegedly drove her Ford Fusion onto the sidewalk, aimed her car at him and struck him, dragging him under the vehicle.
When he eventually became dislodged from the car, Mathis sped away, investigators said.
Ricks was taken to hospital in a critical condition but later died. She was arrested by police the following day.
An investigation was underway into what the couple had been arguing about.
A Go Fund Me page created to help the family with the victim’s funeral expenses raised $1,475 in donations.
If convicted, Mathis faces life in prison without parole.
