The fashion faux pas that ruined Turia Pitt's 'perfect couple shot'

These days, in our social-media obsessed world, there are few things more satisfying than getting the perfect photo — straight to the ‘gram.
But alas, there is nothing quite so frustrating as thinking you got the snap, only to realise someone has their eyes closed, it’s slightly out of focus or just not quite right.
Turia Pitt knows your pain.
The athlete, author and motivationalist shared her own photo-fail to social media this morning.
At first glance, the photo seems to capture a beautiful moment between Pitt, who is pregnant with her first child, and fiance Michael Hoskin.
But, take another look.
The 29-year-old outs herself in the caption, writing: “When you think you’ve finally got the perfect couple shot, but then someone points out you’ve left the tag on your shirt.”
And sure enough, on closer look there is a white price tag hanging from her T-shirt.
Many of Pitt’s almost 400,000 Instagram followers seemed to get the joke, liking the photo and leaving comments, many relating to the faux pas and others thanking her for “keeping it real”.
“Hahaha totally something I’d do, thinking I was finally being like all the other mums getting loved up pregnancy photos. #oops,” wrote one follower.
“It’s a great picture!” wrote another. “Leave the picture the way it is, no need to Photoshop, who cares about the tag. This is true love I swear.”
“Still a beautiful picture.”
“Love your sense of humour,” another added.
The couple are expecting their first baby at the end of the year.
