'How did I not know about this?': Woman goes viral after discovering foolproof trick to keeping towel secure

Anyone who's ever tried to wrap a towel around their body post-shower knows keeping it in place can be tricky. Now, an American mum has revealed a foolproof hack to keep towels secure.

Washington-based Gracie Anne Bear shared a video on TikTok overnight which showed her wrapping her towel around her body and then folding the top over once to keep it secure.

"Excuse me, this... how did I not know about this?" she asked while gesticulating wildly and moving around freely without fear of the towel falling off. "Who is gatekeeping this? PSA to everyone who showers: Fold it over."

While many of her TikTok followers were impressed by the trick, others already familiar with it found the video amusing.

"Wait... what the heck else were you doing? That's all I've ever known," one person commented.

Bear replied to the comment in a second video, demonstrating how many people secure their towels by tucking a corner in — a very dangerous method when it comes to keeping things secure. Watch the video above.

"Did we not all go like this?" she asked, pointing out it's how people in movies do it. "How did I not know the other way?"

"Okay but I am 26 and have never known any way other than tucking the corner and it's not secure," one grateful viewer commented.

"I didn't know this until two years ago when my bf did it on his waist," another said.
