What happened when this woman went on Tinder at an airport
In a story that'll make you think twice about online dating in public, a woman's Tinder swiping was caught out… by the person she swiped no to.
University student, Taylor, shared her story on Twitter.
"My flight was delayed three hours so I was doing what any human does when they’re bored," she wrote. "Minding my own business swiping through Tinder and the guy behind me goes, 'Ouch, hard no for that one?' And I turn around ONLY TO SEE THE MAN I JUST SWIPED NO ON BEHIND ME."
Yelp.
After many people asked for more information on the supremely embarrassing interaction, Taylor shared a few more details in a follow up tweet.
"So I turn around like, 'What?' and he goes 'I'm pretty sure that was my tinder profile but it's fine' and I said, 'Oh sorry nothing personal I usually don't swipe right on anyone'," she recalled.
"My whole body was pale I was so embarrassed."
Taylor continued to say that after she heard the loud speaker call for a flight to board, she pretended it was hers and walked away from the guy.
"I was like, 'Oh, that's me! Have a nice day!' And proceeded to run and hide in the bathroom for 45 minutes and never saw him again."
While many people on Twitter were questioning the validity of the story, Taylor's best friend piped in and confirmed that she received a frantic call from the airport bathroom after the whole interaction went down.
Now that it has clocked up over 39,000 retweets, people are hoping to find the guy in question so the two can be awkwardly reunited once more. Cause that's what Twitter does.
