What it’s really like to meet the Thunder from Down Under male entertainers

They're Australia's hottest exports with one of the top 10 grossing shows in Las Vegas; but the Thunder from Down Under boys are so much more than a gimmick. Chiseled bodies, seductive dance routines and that hard to resist boy-next-door charm...But most importantly, the blokes from Thunder From Down Under are down to earth.

I was lucky to meet them for A Current Affair and, to be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect.

It's a situation I thought I'd never be lucky enough to find myself in, standing in a dressing room, surrounded by twelve shirtless men, oiling themselves with coconut oil. Sounds like any girl's greatest fantasy, but for little shy me, I thought it would be somewhat intimidating.

I was wrong.

Most of them rushed to cover themselves up, some even began to clean the space around them. They offered me a seat, even a drink and introduced themselves. Yes, they were drop dead good looking, but they were also polite.

They were open and honest. They spoke about how they miss home, miss their families, their pets.

While many of the guys are single (and looking for love, they tell me), Aidan is married and expecting a baby. He met his wife in Vegas.

The show itself something else; 300 women scream while the boys dance, they take their clothes off, they entertain for close to two hours. And then they do it all again. Sometimes three times in one night, thirteen times a week.

But after every performance, the boys greet fans outside the showroom. They talk to the women, sign autographs and take photos.

Turns out nice guys don't always finish last.
