This mum’s viral Facebook post highlights every laundry-doer’s worst nightmare
One mum has aired her dirty laundry on Facebook after sharing a photo only too many can relate to.
Debbie Harvey-Price shared a photo in the ‘Mums Who Clean’ Facebook group featuring every laundry-doer’s worst nightmare.

“Odd sock problem. Grr - family of eight, but I swear, once I’ve sorted this lot, the rest are going in the bin. Over it. I’m sure my washing machine gets hungry and eats them,” the mum wrote in the post.
“I think there should be an odd sock charity somewhere,” she added.
Although a mediocre laundry task, the post garnered an overwhelming reaction from empathetic group members and gave light to the time-consuming, ‘sole-sucking’ plight of those who get stuck sorting the socks.
“OMFG I thought I had sock problems,” one woman commented on the post.
“Tell me about it! Family of seven and mine always looks the same,” one empathetic mum said.
“My sock basket was twice that size! They are a force of their own and seem to multiply,” another said.
