You’ll never believe the 13th birthday cake Princess Diana gave William
One of the world’s biggest fixations on The Royal Family is seeing them do ‘normal things’, whether it be Kate pulling a beer, Meghan playing AFL or the Queen just… driving?
However, nothing will ever beat the story of what Princess Diana did for Prince William’s 13th birthday.
According to Diana’s former chef, Darren McGrady, The Princess requested quite the unusual cake for her son’s 13th birthday to mark him becoming a teenager.
“I came into work that morning and went down to the refrigerator,” McGrady told HELLO! magazine, “opened up the door and I was just confronted with the biggest pair of boobs I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Yep, the lovely Princess Diana had ordered a cake in the shape of two breasts for William’s 13th birthday.

McGrady added the late Princess of Wales’ wicked sense of humour didn’t stop at the cake; she had also invited supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell to the palace to surprise William when he got home from school.
“I was super excited and I wanted to meet them too,” he recalled.
The former chef said he was left shocked after opening the fridge and finding the cake: “I asked the butler, 'What on earth is this?' and he said the princess had ordered it”
"The Princess loved embarrassing people in the nicest way, in a fun way.”
As for poor, awkward 13-year-old Will, McGrady said that, “William just went bright red.”
Here’s hoping Kate does the same for George and Louis.
