Shaynna Blaze’s risky new project revealed

Shaynna Blaze has sky-rocketed to Australia’s Queen of Interior Style and is undoubtedly one in-demand woman.

For her next venture, the busy design guru is starring in Nine’s new high-stakes property thriller, Buying Blind.

The show will follow six couples who can’t agree on what house to buy, as they put their trust in three experts -- a buyers agent, a builder, and a designer -- to purchase their forever home.

Enter Shaynna Blaze, who will obviously be charged with the task of completing the interior decorating side of things.

The other two experts include Rich Harvey, the buyers agent who will find the families their dream homes, and Marshal Kenn is a carpenter/builder from Bondi.

“I think these people are incredibly brave,” the award-winning designer told A Current Affair.

That they are – after all, they’re putting their life savings on the line for a house they won’t get to lay eyes on until the final reveal.

It’s not only the couples who are nervous either, Blaze admits it’s a big responsibility.

“You entrusted Rich to buy you a house and Marshall and I to turn it into a home... oh my God I'm shaking,” she said.

Blaze does give us a little teaser of what we can expect, though.

“I think you can expect from this series homes that are really different, they’re not vanilla,” she told the A Current Affair.

We can’t wait to see what the six couples will face when they eventually walk through the door of their new homes.
