Schapelle Corby maintains innocence in throwback photo on Instagram

Convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby has maintained her innocence in another cryptic photo posted on social media today.

Only weeks after returning to Australia, Corby today shared an throwback photo of herself inside Kerobokan Prison in Indonesia on Instagram.

The black and white image shows her receiving a manicure from a fellow cell mate.

She captioned the image: “A fellow cellmate, my friend in block W, gifting me a manicure a few days before my release from Kerobokan prison.”

Corby added that the photo was taken in February 2014 on a mobile phone borrowed from one of the prison guards.

She then used the hashtags: #kerobokanprison #10yearsbehindbars #innocent.

The image has already been liked more than 2500 times.

Corby joined Instagram after returning to Australia and has already garnered a cult-like following of more than 200,000 followers, who she updates regularly.

In another post two weeks ago, she claimed she had been recovering in hospital from a broken ankle and knee with a photo of herself in a hospital bed.

Corby returned to Australia on May 27 this year, more than 12 years after being convicted for drug smuggling.

She was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2005 after she was arrested in Bali with 4.1kg of cannabis inside a bodyboard bag.

She served nine years in prison and three years on parole before being deported back to Australia.
