Schapelle Corby’s freedom has been short-lived, as the convicted drug smuggler is currently holed-up in hospital with a broken leg.
Corby, who returned to Australia from Bali in May after nine years in jail and three on parole, has amassed nearly 200,000 followers in Instagram in just under a month. She has been playing cat and mouse with the media, using her Instagram to show how she has alluded the cameras.
However, the 39-year-old hadn’t posted for six days before uploading an image of her wearing a hospital gown and sitting up in a hospital bed.
“Hi guys. This is why you haven’t seen me in a while.....” she wrote, along with the hashtags #sickbay #brokenleg #brokenankle #brokenknee.

It is not yet known exactly when, how or where she was injured.
Corby was convicted in 2005 over the importation of 4.2kg of cannabis into Bali. Earlier this month, she posted a video showing the world how much she’s been enjoying her #freedom, frolicking on the beach in her native Queensland.
