The Queen rolled her eyes when Prince Charles called her ‘mummy’ at birthday concert
The Queen had an epic weekend celebrating her 92nd birthday with her very own concert, and topped the whole thing off by becoming an internet meme (again), thanks to a very sassy eye roll.
As she joined her son Charles on stage for the finale of the show, Her Majesty couldn’t help but show her exasperation at her 69-year-old son, and heir to the throne, when he called her “mummy” for the whole world to hear.
As the Prince of Wales called for three cheers from the crowd, he initially referred to his mother as “Your Majesty,” before adding with a smirk, “mummy”.
At this, Queen Elizabeth appeared to give an eye roll that only mums are capable of and naturally, the reaction was instant.
She then gave a giggle, proving that she wasn’t taking herself too seriously.

Prince Harry also showed his funny side during the evening when he made a speech to honour his grandmother, in which he said she is “not someone who is easy to buy gifts for”.

The concert, which was also attended by Meghan Markle and Prince William, saw performances from Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and Sting and Shaggy (yes, together).
