Queen's heartbreaking change to social media profile
Queen Elizabeth II has made a heartbreaking change to her social media pages, following the death of her husband of 73 years Prince Philip.
The Monarch's official Instagram page @TheRoyalFamily has changed the profile image of her with the Duke of Edinburgh, to a solo portrait.
The move comes two weeks after Her Majesty's mourning period.

Prince Philip passed away on April 9, aged 99, prompting an outpouring of admiration and tributes online commemorating his life as the longest reigning consort to the Queen.
During the two week mourning period, the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton changed their pictures on Instagram and Twitter to black and white images.

The royals' profiles have reverted back to their original images, with the exception of the Queen.
Prior to his peaceful death at Windsor Castle, the couple's profile had a colourful image of the two of them beaming at the camera.

Now, a single image of the Queen appears on the page, captured during her 2020 visit to the MI5 headquarters at Thames House.
In addition to the image, a "highlights" section appears on the Instagram profile, in honour of the late duke.
On the day of her husband's funeral, the Queen's royal Twitter shared several archival photos of the couple, from their engagement, wedding and married life.
One of the images, a never-before-seen-picture of the pair taken in 2003, featured Philip and the Queen are pictured relaxing together, privately enjoying the stunning scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
They appeared relaxed on the grass at the Coyles of Muick, near the town of Ballater in Aberdeenshire.
The Queen was seen yesterday for her first official public engagement following her husband's funeral.
She held a virtual audience at Windsor Castle via video-link sporting a pale blue floral dress, accessories with a diamond brooch in a nod to Prince Philip.
The brooch was once a part of a tiara gifted to her on her wedding day to Prince Philip in 1947.
She was pictured on a computer screen smiling as she spoke with the ambassadors from the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire.
The Queen turned 95 just 12 days after the duke died.
