Priyanka Chopra’s blunt response to rumours of Feud with Meghan Markle

Priyanka Chopra has bluntly addressed rumours that she and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, are feuding.

The actress broke her silence during a segment on Andy Cohen’s show, 'Watch what happens live' on Thursday.

Rumours of a rift between the women started circulating after Chopra was noticeably absent from the Duchess' star-studded baby shower in February.

Just months earlier the royal was a no-show at Chopra's wedding to Nick Jonas in India.

But during the segment on Andy Cohen's show, a fan called in live to probe the actress about what was really going on and asked: "Are the rumours true that you were upset that Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?"

The Quantico star immediately laughed at the question and bluntly shut it down.

“No,” she laughed

“Oh my god, no it’s not true.”

The shower, which took place in New York in February this year, included A-list guests including Gayle King, Amal Clooney, Abigail Spencer and Serena Williams.

However, Chopra – who attended Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry in May, 2018 – apparently missed the event, due to prior work commitments.

Chopra and the former ‘Suits’ actress became friends after meeting at the Elle Women in Television event in January 2016. Chopra has said they clicked instantly and keep in touch via email and text.

Earlier this week another source quashed rumours of a rift between the pair and hinted that they're closer than ever.

"Priyanka and Meghan are still very close friends and they talk frequently," the informant tells E! Online.

"Meghan confides in Priyanka about the adjustments she has to make with being a royal."

The source also reiterates that Chopra's absence from the Duchess' baby shower, and Meghan's from Chopra's wedding, "doesn't mean anything" about the state of their friendship.
