Charlotte wears hand me downs from older brother George
It seems like only yesterday we saw newborn Princess Charlotte fast asleep in her mother's arms outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital following her birth.
But today marks four years since Charlotte was born, and in new photographs released by Kensington Palace taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, it’s safe to say the little princess is most certainly growing up.
One detail royal fans may have missed in the picturesque photos of Charlotte is some similar items of clothing she was sporting, previously worn by older brother Prince George.

Smiling for the camera in a blue floral summer dress, the fourth in line to the throne was also wearing a pair of navy shoes – the same ones George was seen wearing at a charity event last year.
In June 2018, George and Charlotte we seen frolicking about in the sunshine while attending the Maserati Royal Charity Polo in Gloucester with their mother, Kate.

Charlotte, then three, was wearing a pink summer dress and went barefoot, while George wore a pair of beige shorts with a navy polo top, with similar coloured shoes.
The five-year-old prince has perhaps grown out of the shoes, which have seemingly been passed down to his younger sister Charlotte.
See, even the royals know how to be thrifty.
In two other photos released to mark Charlotte’s birthday, the Queen’s great-granddaughter is wearing a more wintry outfit.

Wearing a tartan skirt, tights and a grey cardigan, Charlotte is seen posing on a fence smiling sweetly at the camera.
In the other image, the princess shows off her cheeky side smiling with a big grin whilst holding a yellow flower.
While Charlotte is currently the only royal to have her birthday on May 2, as we all eagerly await the arrival of Baby Sussex, there is a chance the princess may be sharing her birthday with her future little cousin.

However, given the recent announcement Prince Harry is set to visit The Netherlands next week, many royal fans are speculating that Meghan Markle may have already given birth.
At this point, anything could be possible.
