Princess Charlotte gets cheeky at the King's Cup regatta
Her brothers are famous for their hilariously weary facial expressions, but Princess Charlotte has proven she's every bit as meme-able as Prince George and Prince Louis.
Cheering on her parents in the King's Cut Regatta in the Isle of Wight on Thursday, Charlotte, four, appeared to be up to all kinds of mischief.

In fact, we'd argue she's well and truly taken up the mantle of "cheekiest royal child" from uncle Prince Harry.
The second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was seen poking her tongue out at the crowd after the race, much to the amusement of her mother Catherine.
Charlotte's made a habit of this, even flashing her tongue while on bridesmaid duty at the 2018 wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Well, this looks familiar. AP/AAP
It was only appropriate, given Harry's own childhood habit of pulling faces during official royal events.
His Trooping the Colour effort (pictured above) was truly one for the ages.
Charlotte may be taking after her uncle in the naughtiness stakes, but she's really starting to favour her father where appearance is concerned:

The confident little princess will be starting 'big school' at Thomas's Battersea later this year, so we have no doubt she'll be a blast in the playground.
During the sailing race, Charlotte joined brother George and grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton on a boat to watch parents William and Kate face off in separate boats.
Prince Louis, one, appeared to be absent from the event.

Like his little sister, George was clearly also in his element, rocking a captain's cap and a large gap where his two front teeth should be.
(How much does the royal Tooth Fairy pay, we wonder...?)
Both Cambridge children — and their grandmother — took the nautical theme of the day's events seriously, with stripes featuring heavily in their outfits.

The Cambridge family has recently returned from a holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique, where they celebrated George's sixth birthday.
They still have another month of the summer break to enjoy before George and his younger sister return to school in September.
