Prince William appears in student's TikTok to explain to professor why she's late
One student has found possibly the best excuse to be late to class, with the evidence to back it up.
Ulster University student Samantha Johnson was on her way to class when she ran into none other than Prince William.

The 42-year-old had popped by the university on a surprise trip to Northern Ireland on November 14.
Johnson managed to get up close to the royal, and used the chance to get him to explain to her professor why she was late, straight from the horse's mouth.
The video, now viewed on TikTok 4.8 million times, shows Johnson turning the front facing camera on her phone towards the Prince of Wales and instructing him to "just tell her why we're late."
After confirming the professor's name and if the video was recording, he said, "Lesley, I'm very sorry we're late, but they seem to be caught up, and they wouldn't believe that you were here, so, just wanted to say hi."
His excuse made the group laugh, and Johnson uploaded the video with the text overlay, "POV – Prince William gives you the best excuse for being late."
Johnson added in a comment to People, "He really took a genuine interest in all of our interests and future plans.

"Honestly, gave the most positive vibes and seems like such a sweet, kind-hearted individual. Even took time to tell us about his plans to help the homeless to spread awareness."
People in the comments were surprised by the royal's casual cameo, with one commenter saying, "Being royally pardoned from your lecture is absolutely brilliant."
"I'm never topping this excuse," Johnson had replied.
