Prince Harry and Prince Charles will come face to face for the first time since Harry's bombshell claims about his father during his Oprah Winfrey interview.

The father and son will both attend Prince Philip's funeral today, walking close together in the official procession but sitting apart during the service.

Though they're not expected to interact much during the official portion of the event, royal watchers will have their eyes on the two princes.

Last month Harry claimed that his father stopped taking his phone calls after he revealed his plans to leave the royal family.

He also suggested that Charles cut him off financially when he moved to the US with wife Meghan Markle in March 2020.

Though much of the focus in the lead up to Philip's funeral has been on Harry's reunion with brother Prince William, there are also "raw" feelings between him and his father.

"This isn't the time or the place to move past it. The wounds are still very, very raw," said royal correspondent Russell Myers on Lorraine today.

He said that though there are still tensions between Harry and Charles over the Duke of Sussex's Oprah claims, they're unlikely to let that show at Philip's funeral.

A source told the Mirror: "Despite everything that has gone on and the wounds are still pretty raw, everyone is hoping any disputes will be parked for another day.

"This is about giving the duke the send off he deserves surrounded by his family."

Charles was said to be deeply hurt by Harry's interview claims, and there is speculation that tensions are still high between him and Harry.

However, the father and son are expected to put any differences aside at Philip's funeral – as are Harry and William.

As such, the pair are likely to "keep calm and carry on" for their first public appearance together since Harry's Oprah claims.
