Fans shocked as Prince Harry stars in TikTok with Stephen Colbert

Prince Harry has delighted his fans by participating in a TikTok trend with The Late Show host Stephen Colbert.

The royal, 41, and Colbert, 61, replicated a moment from the Great British Bake Off where host Alison Hammond asked a contestant named Mark Lutton, "If you was treated like a King for the day, what would you want me to do for you?"

Lutton, who had a strong Northern Irish accent, replied, "Bake for me probably?" – though his accent made it sound like he said "beg" instead.

This created a lot of confusion, with the pair going back and forth until Hammond finally understood what Lutton was saying, erupting in laughter.

Harry took on Hammond's role perfectly, encapsulating the confusion in his eyes and even throwing his head back in laughter to top it all off. The video has 351,600 views and counting

Fans were surprised by the Duke of Sussex's acting chops.

"Wait he's so good at lip syncing??" said one fan

"The way he does it so well, my guy!!!" added another.

"Good King Harry! The only real one," said one, referring to the audio, "So glad he is living his best life now."

"Prince Harry as @alisonhammond55 is something I never knew I needed," one fan shared.

Others drew comparisons to his late mother Princess Diana, with one fan sharing, "He definitely inherited his mom's sense of humour."

"He carries Diana's love for him and it's so touching, and it shows so much. Thankful for Harry and him being himself," another added.

The video comes after Harry made an appearance in the final few minutes of his wife Meghan's Netflix Christmas special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, which dropped on Wednesday.

Harry joined his wife in the kitchen as she cooked with Tom Colicchio, of American Masterchef fame.

The Duchess of Sussex showed Colicchio how to make Gumbo, a traditional southern stew her mother, Doria Ragland, cooks every Christmas Eve.

Meghan made hers with spicy andouille sausage, instead of the turkey sausage her mother uses for Harry, with the 44-year-old telling Colicchio, "He's gonna sweat".

After trying the gumbo, Harry quickly said he could "feel it puncturing through the top of my head".

He then declared, "I'm not so sure it's as good as your mum's, but it's certainly close".

Meghan, who was at the stove, turned around and glared at Harry, momentarily gobsmacked by his honesty.

"What?" she said, "Oh my God."

But she then added, much more calmly, "My mum will love you for that. What a good thing to say about your mother-in-law".
