Why Prince George and Prince Harry are never photographed together

Now before you start panicking, don't worry—Prince Harry and Prince George aren't the latest pair of 'feuding' royals.

There's no beef between the five-year-old prince and his uncle, but oddly enough there are no pictures of the pair together either.

It seems strange, given how much Harry spoke about wanting kids before he met and married Meghan Markle.

One would assume an uncle so keen to have kids of his own would be eager to spend time with his nephew and help out Prince William and Kate Middleton, especially when George first came along.

With this in mind, surely there should be plenty of photos of them hanging out together one-on-one.

However, royal writers have theorised the lack of photos of this pair of princes was entirely deliberate and for the weirdest reason imaginable: the royal family didn't want Harry to look like a 'childless spinster.' Because apparently he's a Jane Austen heroine and not, you know, a 34-year-old prince of England.

Kaitlin Menza and Lisa Ryan, royal writers who host the podcast Royally Obsessed, said the reason the Duke of Sussex was never seen with George in those first few years of George's life was because he was single.

"We’ve never once seen Prince Harry interacting with Prince George, they’ve never been photographed together," the duo mused.

“I think it was on purpose because Harry was single. They didn’t want him like ‘poor old spinster Harry playing with a baby on the grass’.”

Naturally, Kensington Palace hasn't addressed this particular rumour, but it's hard to believe the royal family would ever be worried about Prince Harry of all people looking like a spinster.

Though he's looking polished and proper these days, we all remember the prince’s wild twenties and that particularly un-spinster-like photo from Las Vegas.

Of course, with his wife due to give birth next month, Harry will soon have his own child to "play with on the grass," so royal fans and writers alike can stop worrying about his spinster status.

As for photos of Harry and George, we're sure it's just a coincidence – or perhaps the result of a very strange royal family feud.

Safe to say we're putting our money on the former.
