Prince Harry’s heart-warming message days out from the birth of his first child
Royal fans have had the glimpse of Prince Harry that they’ve been thirsting for while awaiting the birth of baby Sussex.
In a video posted to the Virgin Money London Marathon Twitter page, Prince Harry spoke of the record breaking feat that large fundraiser has reached, while expressing his gratitude for everyone involved.
“The London Marathon is an extraordinary force for good,” The Duke of Sussex said in his message.
“This year's Virgin Money London Marathon will see the total raised for charity surpass a record-breaking £1billion.
“For every runner that has contributed to this and for those of you taking part this year, thanks a billion.”
The marathon – which is set to take place this year on April 28 -- is the largest one day fundraising even on the planet and helps hundreds of charities around the world helping provide services to the world’s most vulnerable.
The video message comes from the father-to-be as the world all has their eyes on him and his wife, Meghan Markle. The pair is set to welcome their first child any day now, with Markle previously stating the due date to be sometime toward the end of April or early May.
The pair recently moved into their new home in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor with Markle being on maternity leave for a few weeks already.
