Harry and Meghan's adorable 'Thank You' cards for fans after Archie's birth

Archie Mountbatten-Windsor's arrival was a highly anticipated event, as royal fans had waited for months to celebrate the newest addition to the royal family.

It's unsurprising, then, that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were inundated with well-wishes from fans around the globe, receiving thousands of cards, letters and gifts after Archie's birth on May 6.

Now, fans who sent their congratulations have started to receive 'Thank You' postcards from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and frankly, they're adorable.

The cards feature a stunning photo of the Sussex family on the day Harry and Meghan introduced little Archie to the world at St George's Hall in Windsor Castle.

Showing Harry carrying his son in his arms while Meghan walks beside him, the photo was taken before the world even knew Archie's name, which was announced hours after the photo call.

The card also included a kind message from the new parents, thanking fans for their well wishes following Archie's birth.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex greatly appreciate you taking the time to write and celebrate the birth of Archie Mountbatten-Windsor," the card read.

Fans around the world have shared the cards they received on social media, with more set to show off cards from the Sussexes in a few months' time now Archie has been christened.

It is tradition for the royal family to send out 'Thank You' cards to members of the public who write to them following major occasions, such as royal weddings, births and christenings.

With Archie's christening having just passed, it's likely that Harry and Meghan were once again flooded with well wishes for their young son and will likely be sending out more postcards in the coming months.

Archie was christened on Saturday in an intimate service at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle, near the family's Frogmore Cottage home. Only 25 guests attended the ceremony, including the late Princess Diana's sisters.
