Former PM takes a brutal swipe at Prince Harry and Meghan
Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has taken aim at Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex amid speculation that they may return to royal life.
When asked by News Nation Now about whether she would support a return to the royal fold from Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, the 50-year-old had a brutal response.
"That's really a matter for the king and the other members of the royal family, but as far as I'm concerned, you're very welcome to keep them in California," she said.

Supporters of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex criticised the politician, who famously only lasted 50 days in office, becoming the shortest-serving prime minister in British history.
"Truss is really one to talk about work after her time," one fan wrote on social media. "She's the biggest flop and underachiever of a prime minister in this nation's history," another added.
But Truss is not the only one unimpressed by the Sussexes.

As the couple prepare to make their way Down Under for a tour in April, a petition boasting over 35,000 signatures has been circulating online, calling for no taxpayers' money to be contributed.
The petition points out the visit includes media, business and private engagements, with the Duchess slated to attend the Her Best Life event at Coogee, where tickets cost $2699 to $3199 per person.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry will speak at the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit in Melbourne, where tickets start at $1978.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, will speak at the Her Best Life retreat in Sydney between April 17-19, 2026. Her Best Life
"These activities are private and commercial and must be treated strictly as a private visit," the petition continued.
"At a time when Australians are facing significant cost-of-living pressures, including rising grocery bills, fuel prices, mortgage stress driven by interest rate hikes, and increasing energy costs, public resources must be used responsibly and applied fairly, without special treatment for high-profile individuals."
The petition has caught the eye of the Montecito-based pair, with a representative of the couple weighing in.
"It's a moot point. The trip is being funded privately, so I'm not sure what this petition hopes to achieve," a rep for the couple said, according to the Daily Mail.
"If you wanted to dive into the ridiculousness of this petition as an agenda for spreading misinformation, then one could equally hypothesise that there are approximately 26.5 million Australians who haven't signed it, who must therefore agree with the taxpayer picking up the tab for their visit.
"Of course, that is another equally stupid assertion to make."
