Third film on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will explore the pair's "conscious uncoupling from the crown"
The Sussex saga continues, with Harry and Meghan set to become the subject of yet another soap opera-style drama.
Following the couple's controversial split from the monarchy, TV Network Lifetime has announced it is developing a third film in it calls it's Harry and Meghan movie franchise.
Borrowing a term popularised by Gwenyth Paltrow, the network describes the film as the story of the Sussexes "controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown after the birth of their son Archie" in the official synopsis.

Titled 'Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace', the film will centre on the couple's journey to "forge a new life on their own terms."
Rumours surrounding the specifics of the Lifetime special are flying, with critics speculating it will encompass everything from an alleged fallout within the British royal family to Harry and Meghan's relocation and new life with son Archie in California.
No casting has been announced yet.

While the Sussexes officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals on March 31 in a bid to move away from public life, their every move since has made global headlines (rivalled only by the coronavirus).
Lifetime previously produced two films on the Sussexes, including 2018's Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance, which documented the loving lead up to the couple's May 2018 wedding. The sequel, Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal, revealed the challenges of royal life encountered by the couple.

The script for the third instalment will be written by Scarlett Lacey and produced by Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss, the trio who previously worked on the past two films.
The director of Lifetime's previous Harry and Meghan films, Menhaj Huda, is yet to confirm his return.
The announcement follows the release of details of Harry and Meghan's explosive biography.

The tell-all book, titled Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, is set to be released on August 11.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly cooperated with the writing of the book, agreeing to an interview with authors Omid Scobie and Catherine Durand and permitting their friends to do the same.
The journalists will tell the story of how the couple fell out with royal life.
