Prince Andrew is reportedly keeping a close eye on his nephew Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle and their successful ventures in the United States after he lost his own roles and titles, hopeful to forge a new career path.

After the late Queen Elizabeth II stripped her second son of his military titles and royal patronages in January 2022, King Charles has reportedly given permission for his 62-year-old brother to seek "low-key" business interests, The Sun reports.

An insider claimed: "Andrew is less bothered than people think about losing his titles and official royal roles. He is thinking about how he can forge a new career."

"They have managed to set up a new working life away from the Royal Family and that is something Andrew has been following very, very closely.

"He is very interested in the businesses and charity side of things, rather than doing anything on Netflix," the source claimed.

Andrew has also reportedly taken a secret trip to Bahrain as a guest of the oil-rich country's royal family, claiming to seek a new unofficial intermediary role between the West and Gulf states, according to claims from The Sun released in November.

Meanwhile the Duke of York has also been preoccupied consulting with his lawyers in an attempt to overturn his multi-million-dollar settlement with Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexual assault in 2021.

Giuffre alleged that she was sexually abused by Andrew on three separate occasions in 2001 when she was 17. She was seeking unspecified damages, and some reports speculated it was in excess of $20 million. The pair reports speculated it was in excess of $20 million.

Andrew has consistently denied all allegations against him.
