Camilla makes a remarkable recovery to attend Festival of Remembrance.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has made a remarkable recovery after battling a ongoing chest infection to attend the Festival of Remembrance.

Camilla attended the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hotel, despite fighting off a chest infection that stopped her from attending events earlier in the week.

The annual event is held at the Royal Albert Hall and is hosted by the Royal British Legion ahead of Remembrance Sunday. It honours all the men and women who have died and been injured in conflict.

The Duchess of Cornwall was joined by her husband, the Prince of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Queen.

The royal family sat in the royal box at the annual Festival of Remembrance.

There was some speculation as to the seating arrangement in the royal box, with people thinking it was a sign of the rumoured rift between William and Harry.

However the seating was the same as the previous year, with the Queen in the middle and the rest of the family sitting around her based on hierarchy

The event is the first time the Sussex's and Cambridge's have appeared in public together since July, and since Harry and Meghan opened up about their struggles with living in the public eye.

Camilla's presence at the memorial was announced on Twitter by The Times royla correspondent Roya Nikkah

"The Duchess of Cornwall will join the Queen and members of the Royal Family at this evening's @PoppyLegion Festival of Remembrance at @RoyalAlbertHall, royal sources have confirmed" she wrote.

"Earlier this week the Duchess had to cancel a Remembrance engagement due to a chest infection."

It's unsure if Camilla will be healthy enough to also attend tomorrow's ceremony at the Cenotaph.
