Meghan's first appearance since she left the royal tour

Meghan Markle has stepped out for her first royal engagement since wrapping up the royal tour. 

The Duchess of Sussex attended the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall with her husband Prince Harry, along with other royal family members like the Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence also attended the event.

Markle wore a black loose-fitting Stella McCartney dress with a prominent tie at the front, hiding the Duchess' fast-growing baby bump. 

Her sister-in-law Kate wore a more simple, form-fitting dress with an asymmetrical neckline.

Markle opted for a more subtle-looking poppy pin, while her family members donned the bright red brooch. Kate went one further and wore three of them!

This is the first event we've seen the two prominent royal couples since Eugenie's wedding at the start of October. 

The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance honours the lives of those lost in both World War I and II. This year marked the 100th anniversary of the end of the first World War.
