Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quietly release 2023 holiday card hours after historic court victory
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 2023 holiday card has officially been unveiled.
Mere hours after the Duke of Sussex, won his historic phone hacking lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspapers, he and the Duchess of Sussex's Archewell organisation quietly sent out an email with the card to their subscribers.
"We wish you a very happy holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!", the virtual greeting, which also links to the Archewell Foundation's annual impact report, reads.

The photo, chosen by Harry and Meghan, was taken at the 2023 Invictus Games' closing ceremony, which was held in Düsseldorf, Germany in September.
In the snap, the Sussexes can be seen smiling and clapping – and those who were at the event know it was taken as the United States team walked onto the stage to Bruce Springsteen's hit Born in the USA.
Meghan wore a green strapless dress, which was detailed with laser-cut flowers. Harry, meanwhile, wore a black suit with a black dress shirt.
Their two children – Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two – were not featured in the card, which was sent mere hours after Harry's lawyer read a searing speech on his behalf outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
"I've been told that slaying dragons will get you burned but in light of today's victory and the importance of doing what is needed for a free and honest press, it is a worthwhile price to pay," part of Harry's statement, read by David Sherborne, said. "The mission continues."
Harry was awarded more than £140,000 (approx. $267,000) in damages as part of Justice Timothy Fancourt's 386-page ruling, which found phone hacking was "widespread and habitual" by Mirror Group Newspapers over many years.

Piers Morgan, who was Editor of the Daily Mirror between 1995 and 2004 and named in the ruling, has since hit back at the verdict.
The Sussexes' holiday card's release comes one week after Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales released their own.
The black-and-white snap, which featured William, 41, Catherine, 41, and their three children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five – dressed in white shirts and denim jeans, sparked a frenzy amongst fans due to a "photoshop fail".
