Meghan's special message to fans on 44th birthday

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is out celebrating as she turns 44 years old.

The royal took to Instagram to shar how she rang in the occasion with a photo of herself in a restaurant, blowing the candles of her flower-embellished cake.

"Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special," she wrote in the caption.

"To those of you I don't know, but who send love every day - thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it ❤️" she said to her fans.

The mum-of-two even gave them a recommendation: "And just to get a little foodie on you….this dinner last night at @funke_la with the culinary mastery of @evanfunke and his team is in the top five meals of my life. Extraordinary 🍝 Thank you for a standout dining experience."

Also paying tribute to the entrepreneuer was the Instagram account of her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

They posted a never-before-seen photo of the royal standing in a garden, wearing a summer dress and a white wide-brimmed hat, accessorising with a diamond tennis necklace, gold braclets, her Cartier Tank watch that once belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, and her wedding band and diamond engagement ring from her husband, Prince Harry.

"Celebrating the woman behind it all," the caption read.

"She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder."

In the lead up to Meghan's birthday, subscribers to As ever were sent an important update about the sale of the brand's wine and other products, which sold out within less than an hour of their release last month.

The email confirmed its 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available to purchase later today (August 5).
