Fans are convinced Meghan Markle's accent sounds more British

When Meghan Markle agreed to go on a blind date with a mystery British man, she couldn’t have known how drastically her life would change. 

Since she began dating Prince Harry, the 36-year-old has retired from acting, moved continents, become a Duchess, embraced a new religion, and adopted the Royal Family’s many ‘protocols’.

Now, fans are convinced Meghan’s American accent has received a British makeover, too.

In the footage, recorded and shared online by a fan, Meghan warmly chats with locals, thanking them for their support and remarking on the weather.

The video has sparked plenty of debate on Twitter as to what extent the Duchess’ manner of speaking has changed since her induction into the British monarchy.
