Kate wears boots she sported at first ever royal engagement in 2011

Kate Middleton took a walk down memory lane as she donned a pair of boots that she first wore in 2011.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is known for being thrifty, sported a sleek green coat and turtleneck with black jeans.

The royal, 40, finished the look with a nostalgic touch, completing the outfit with a pair of Aquatalia Rouge boots — which she originally wore to her first royal engagement in 2011.

The duchess has been seen wearing the boots a few times over the last decade. In 2013, she paired them with a beautiful Orla Kiely coat dress whilst visiting the Only Connect charity.

The royal has proven to be a fan of Aquatalia — owning at least six other pairs of boots from the Italian footwear brand, one of which has been worn on at least 20 occasions!

Kate also donned the boots again in 2018 during a visit in Essex to see the Royal Foundation's Coach Core programme with Prince William.

She sported them again in 2019 during a visit to a beach in North Wales with the Duke.

The Duchess of Cambridge is known for choosing recycled pieces from her wardrobe instead of buying new.

During Kate and William's royal train tour in December 2020, the duchess wore a selection of coats — all of which were re-worn items, a move by Kate to show she was in-tune with the sentiments of the nation still suffering under COVID 19 restrictions.
