'Welcome to the family': Prince and Princess of Wales reveal newest royal
The Prince and Princess of Wales have formally introduced their family's newest furry addition, Otto, to the world.
The pair marked the beloved family pooch's first birthday on social media with an adorable Instagram post, sharing a decidedly majestic-looking snap of the English cocker spaniel.
Though he's been present on their social media once before, this is the first ever time they have revealed their new dog's name.

Captioning the photo, the royal couple wrote: "Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today."
The sweet snap was captured by none other than Princess Kate herself, who is a self-professed "enthusiastic amateur photographer" and is often behind the lens taking portraits of her and Prince William's three children.
Young Otto is the puppy of William and Kate's black cocker spaniel Orla, who joined the royal family in 2020.
They confirmed in February of this year that they'd opted to keep one male pup from Orla's litter in 2025.

Both dogs appeared in Will and Kate's recent anniversary post, which featured the two alongside children Prince George, 12, Prince Charlotte, 11 and Prince Louis, eight.
Eagle-eyed royal fans could spot the two pups in the far left corner, with Orla seen receiving a pat from Prince William as Otto lay comfortably to the side.
This snap was Otto's first publicly shared family photo.
The Prince and Princess' first family dog was also a cocker spaniel, named Lupo.
The pooch had been a "belated wedding present," from Kate's brother James Middleton.
Orla was introduced into the family circle just prior to Lupo's death in 2020, and has been a consistent presence in many a photo-op since.
She made appearances in everything from Princess Charlotte's portraits, to the Prince and Princess of Wales' polo matches – even joining the family in a 2024 video detailing Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis.
In the unprecedentedly personal home video, the Princess stated that "this time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted."
