Prince Harry's rumoured 'romance' with model after he met Meghan
He’s now happily settled down with Meghan Markle, with the couple having just welcomed their first child together, but a royal author alleges Prince Harry had a 'fling' shortly after he met his future wife in 2016.
In her book titled Harry: Conversations with the Prince, royal biographer Angela Levin details how the 34-year-old apparently rubbed shoulders with British model Sarah Ann Macklin at a party.
“During the very early stages of his relationship with Meghan, Harry was thought to have gone on dates with Burberry model Sarah Ann Macklin,” Levin told The Express.

The author claims the Duke of Sussex met the model “at a private party”, and after he got her number he “bombarded her with texts”.
“But it turned out to be just a fling,” she added.
An alleged friend of Macklin’s told Levin the pair got along but were “quite different” so it didn’t work out between them — evidently, as Harry married Meghan in May 2018.
Macklin carved a successful career for herself in the modelling world, having appeared in the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, but she is now working as a nutritionist.

The 29-year-old completed a two-year course in human nutrition at Oxford College, and went on to complete a degree in nutrition at London Metropolitan University.
On her website, she claims it was her experience as a model that spearheaded her passion for learning about nutrition.
“I felt it was my calling to change the unhealthy eating habits that I saw were so prevalent in the world of modelling,” she says on her website.
Macklin has certainly been making waves in the industry and has previously been described by Marie Claire as “the Jamie Oliver of nutrition”.
As for Harry, well, we know how that story ends.
The prince was set up with Meghan on a blind date in June 2016, and after 18 months together the couple announced their engagement in November 2017.
They tied the knot in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, and welcomed their first child, Archie, just under a year later.
