Tiffany Trump made a surprise front row appearance at the royal family's state banquet at Windsor Castle.

The event, in honour of her father, President Donald Trump, is taking place inside St George's Hall and is part of an historic state visit by the US President and First Lady Melania Trump.

Tiffany, 31, and her husband Michael Boulos, were among the official guests invited to take part in the royal procession.

Tiffany was partnered with Apple chief executive Tim Cook, while her husband was given the honour of accompanying the Princess of Wales, and entered St George's Hall well before his wife as part of a procession that started with King Charles and Trump.

Tiffany was assigned a spot in the line-up five places after her husband.

They were followed by Queen Camilla and Melania Trump, then the Prince of Wales and National Grid chair Paula Reynolds. Next was her husband and the Princess of Wales.

Tiffany entered the hall in the ninth grouping and was resplendent in a floor-length royal blue off-the-shoulder gown with sparkling embellishment, which she paired with black peep-toe platform shoes and what appeared to be a diamond necklace, bracelet and earrings.

She wore her blonde hair down and parted to one side.
