Online trolls have been calling the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s unborn baby a ‘parasite’

The news that Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are expecting a third child has been met with delight...by most people.

While many happily speculated about everything from the name of the future heir to the effects it will have on the royal family, others were quick to voice their anger about a baby that has yet to be born.

Writing on twitter, one user said: “Another useless royalty parasite that will be put on a pedestal, won’t have to work a day in their life and paid for by taxpayers for a lifetime.”

Another added: “Oh good grief another parasite on benefits.”

Others were unhappy that the Duchess pulled out of planned engagements due to suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum - severe morning sickness. 

However, plenty have rushed to the defence of Kate and William, congratulating them on the happy news and urging anti-royalists to leave them be.

"Very happy for them, why can't you sad people who slate the royals GET OVER YOUR SELVES. My god your lives must be so empty,” one user wrote, while another added "Is there any need for all the nasty comments? I for one am pleased for them."

It is believed the royal baby will be born in April 2018. He or she will be fifth in line to the throne, after grandfather Prince Charles, dad Prince William and siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
