Redditors share list of things you should never, ever search on Google
A trigger warning for the weak-stomached! The information that follows may lead to unbearable curiosity, and traumatic discoveries.
Redditors have shared their top things you should absolutely, never ever search on Google, and it's proved a mighty list.
From gut-churning injuries to upsetting fungal diseases, they've amalgamated a number of key words to simply stray away from, if you're not wanting an image that might never leave your mind.
Below are their most shocking of Google searches, with descriptions-only of course.
Don't type these into your search bar, whatever you do. Getty
1. Krokodil
We're starting with a particularly shocking one, of course. This one is as flesh-eating as the animal it's named after.
Krokodil is another name for the drug Desomorphine, a strand of morphine with powerful opioid effects. It's often used in place of heroine in places like Russia and the Ukraine.
But such a powerful drug doesn't merely pass through your system. Side effects from the drug include large-scale tissue infection, and even a symptom explained as "cooking the skin", for that reason, it's been labelled a "flesh-eating drug".
2. Mouth larva
Don't confuse "moth larva" with "mouth larva" in your searching, as one Redditor did, or you're sure to stumble across some pretty ugly sights.
With larva meaning the formation of an insect, and sometimes infestation, we're sure you get the picture.

3. Fournier
This one may be reminiscent of the old French word for "boulanger", or "breadmaker", in a Google search, it means something different entirely.
Today, the word is also the name of a type of gangrene that affects the genitalia. Ouchie.
4. Your favourite food
This one was a submission on the milder side. The Redditor's reasoning? "It will just make you hungry."
5. Your symptoms
A doctor may have been behind this one. By now, we should all know that Googling your medical symptoms is just a one-way road to scaring yourself silly.
While it is oh-so-tempting to consult the Google 'experts' on why your headaches are so bad, or why your bruises aren't healing as fast as normal, we all know the top result is nearly always 'cancer', and that's simply not true.
6. Your e-mail address
This one is not so stomach-upsetting, and rather more to save your conscience.
A simple Google of your email address may reveal realisations about many ways in which your information has been shared or stored by different sites.
For some Redditors, this included stolen accounts and password leaks, which really, might prove that you actually should Google this, just in case.

7. Calculus Bridge
If you're like us, and hate any medical issue that is mouth related, be sure to steer clear from this one.
Calculus bridge is basically hardened plaque across the teeth. Generally, it has to be chipped away by a dentist. In its worst stages, removal can reveal "several removable teeth", or loose teeth. So keep cleaning those pearly whites, people.
8. Ring Avulsion
Save your eyes and absolutely do not look this up. An injury that occurs when a ring on a finger catches on something, ring avulsion results when the pressure from trying to pull your hand free severely damages soft tissue in your finger.
As Indy100 points out, in the worst of scenarios, it can result in an entire hand being pulled off your wrist. Yikes.
9. Google
Save yourself the endless, unfulfilling cycle and don't try Googling 'Google' expecting an answer. The results will only ever be other 'Google' pages, and there's really nothing more to learn from there.
