Norway's Princess Märtha wants a boyfriend for Christmas

Christmas (and/or constant Christmas reruns of Love Actually) gets everyone thinking about love. Even royals.

Norway's Princess Märtha Louise posted a meme on Instagram yesterday that resonated with everyone who'd like a boyfriend for Christmas.

The older sister of Norway's Crown Prince Haakon was married to writer Ari Behn for 14 years, but they split last year and now share custody of their three daughters, Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora and Emma Tallulah.

After the princess shared the post, her feed was flooded with comments from willing admirers around the world.

"HELLO! Tall, established unicorn here! Feel free to reach out!" wrote one man – raising the question of whether anyone seriously thinks it's likely a member of Norwegian royalty would "reach out" to a stranger on social media, even one who provides such a rich and in-depth bio.

"If you want to move to Arizona ....," wrote another. (Author's note: Do they have palaces in Arizona? Do they have reindeer? Do they have the Northern Lights? No, I thought not.)

"NICK Canadian unicorn, hit me up single," wrote yet another hopeful suitor. I just don't think these gentlemen are really nailing the tone.

Except this guy, perhaps.

"As all Danes know, lower expectations are the key to happiness," he wrote.

"Most things are overrated, especially us men."
