At just eight years of age, Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones found herself in the media spotlight as one of Kate Middleton’s adorable bridesmaids at the 2011 Royal Wedding.

The only granddaughter of Princess Margaret was joined in the bridal party by other royal relatives and friends, wearing a white dress with matching shoes and a flower crown.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at where she is seven years on.

Margarita Elizabeth Rose Alleyne Armstrong-Jones, now 15, was named after both her late grandmother - who died not long before she was born in 2002 - and Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

She is the youngest child of David and Serena Alleyne Armstrong-Jones; her father’s parents were Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, who died in 2017.

The relationship between Queen Elizabeth II's younger sister and the British photographer was a key plot line in the second season of Netflix's The Crown.

Margarita attends high school and mostly remains out of the public eye.

However, she attended a Service of Thanksgiving honouring the work of her late grandfather last year (pictured above) and was photographed chatting with her father and her great-aunt, the Queen.

The trio are the first people in the line of succession who are not directly related to Queen Elizabeth, according to Royal Central.
