Plus size male models recreate Calvin Klein advert

A group of men has recreated an iconic fashion advert by Calvin Klein in a bid to prove that size inclusivity is for all.

While female plus size models such as Ashley Graham are trailblazing with a number of brand campaigns under their belt, there hasn’t been so much representation from fuller-figured men - until now.

Plus size male model Darnel Ghramm has created a new project called #WeAreBigAndTall, and roped in a bunch of his mates to pose for their version of an iconic Calvin Klein male campaign.

“I got together a few plus males with different ethnicities, height, sizes and shapes... We exist and we are constituted by many different things,” he said. “Whether big, tall or simply fall outside of the worlds standards, we are all handsome and worthy.”

He added that he hopes one day plus size models can “lose the plus” 

Writing on Instagram, he captioned, “What you think of yourself is way more important than what they think of you. So be mindful of your self talk, be good to yourself.”
