Wedding photo has the internet scratching their heads

Most wedding photos evoke memories of the love and passion a newly married couple shared on the day they said ‘I do’.

However, for one unlucky pair, their wedding day photo has gone viral for a very different reason.

A snap shared on Imgur has gone viral after it had users doing a double take due to an unfortunate optical illusion.

The photo in question features a bride on the dancefloor of her wedding reception speaking to the groom. However, at the front of the photo the arm of a female guest takes up the foreground and at first glance it appears that the bride’s bare bum is exposed.

The image titled ‘Party at the front, business in the back’, which was shared by user imdur254, has gone viral with over 102,000 views and endless comments from bemused users.

"My 4 year old saw this and said mommy why is her butt out? "commented a user.

"Help I don't know what's going on,” remarked another.

''Ya had me there for about half a second!" exclaimed one user.

The amusing image isn’t the first time an optical illusion has sent the Internet into a spin.

In May, a picture of a man leaning down to hug a woman left the viral world feeling perplexed.

The image looks as though the man is wearing white jeans and heels - which is no big deal, but there’s something that’s just not quite right about the shot. Look a little closer and you’ll realise that it’s actually the woman leaning down, but their heads are angled in a way that makes this image completely confusing.

The picture went viral when a Twitter user shared it with the caption, “At first I thought he was wearing the heels”.
