Obamas tweet love for each other on Valentine's Day
The Obamas have returned from their holiday in the Caribbean and are more loved up than ever.
To mark Valentine's Day, the former President and First Lady had a little love in on Twitter. It started when Barack Obama made the Internet doe-eyed with his tweet thanking wife, Michelle for 28 years together.
"Happy Valentine’s Day, @michelleobama! Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new", he wrote.
And she responded with a tweet just as sweet.
"Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life and favorite island mate, @BarackObama. #valentines", she captioned a picture showing their crossed feet in the sand.
The couple handed over their official FLOTUS and POTUS Twitter handles to President Trump and First Lady Melania in January when the Obama administration left the White House. They then told followers of their personal accounts that they would be taking a break before "working with you on the issues we care about" before jetting off to the British Virgin Islands to holiday with British businessman, Richard Branson.
