The numbers have been crunched and the verdict is in, with the highest paid actors of 2024 being revealed by Forbes
A number of Aussie actors made the list this year, but only one woman featured in the Top 10.

10. Will Smith
$US 26 million ($US 30 million gross) / $41.8 million ($48.3 million gross)
Will Smith is climbing his way back into the spotlight after the Oscars slap torpedoed his career in 2022. He has been in a number of projects last year, including Bad Boys: Ride or Die which grossed over $US 400 million ($644 million), and has revived his music career.
9. Adam Sandler
$US 26 million ($US 35 million gross)/$41.8 million ($56 million gross)
Sandler's impressive repertoire of films, including the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 and Spaceman, ensure he receives his dues.
8. Nicole Kidman
$US 31 million ($US 41 million gross)/$49.9 million ($66 million gross)
Beloved Aussie actress Nicole Kidman was the only woman to make it into the top 10 list.
Her renowned TV miniseries – think The Perfect Couple, Lioness, and Expats – as well as films featuring her in an affair with a younger man, Babygirl and A Family Affair, make the 57-year-old the highest-paid actress of 2024.
7. George Clooney
$US 31 million ($US 37 million gross)/ $49.9 million ($59.5 million gross)
Clooney was only in two projects in the past year - one being the voiceover for children's film IF and the other being spy comedy Wolfs starring alongside Brad Pitt, but he still managed to be the seventh highest paid actor of 2024.
6. Brad Pitt
$US 32 million ($US 42 million gross)/ $51.5 million ($67 million gross)
Pitt appeared in the same projects as his friend Clooney with the addition of one more – as an executive producer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
The one extra project place him above his friend on the list.
5. Hugh Jackman
$US 50 million ($US 66 million gross)/ $80.5 million ($106 million gross)
Hugh Jackman's decision to bring back his most iconic character in Deadpool & Wolverine earned him the number five spot in the highest paid actors of 2024.
4. Jerry Seinfeld
$US 60 million ($US 70 million gross) /$96.6 million ($112 million gross)
Jerry Seinfeld has been touring the stand-up circuit and brought his script developed in the pandemic about the invention of Pop-Tarts to life in 2024.
But it's his eponymous sitcom that continues to bring in eight figures each year – despite it being 26 years since it ended – that contributes to his billionaire status.
3. Kevin Hart
$US 81 million ($US 108 million gross)/ $130 million ($173 million gross)
Hart had a project on virtually every streaming service you can think of, as well as 90 standup shows, which have him rounding out the top three highest paid actors.
2. Ryan Reynolds
$US 85 million ($US 100 million gross)/ $136 million ($161 million gross)
Ryan Reynolds has had a big year in 2024, with the actor starring, producing and writing the biggest live action film of the year, Deadpool & Wolverine.
He also starred in John Krasinski's IF and produced Welcome To Wrexham based on the football club he owns with actor Rob McElhenney, and allegedly rewote the script of his wife Blake Lively's controversial film It Ends With Us, making for an eventful year.
