Costco shoppers can breathe easy knowing a major change isn't coming to Aussie stores
Costco shoppers were outraged when recent news surfaced online.
Fans of the discount warehouse were disappointed to hear its regular $65 membership would no longer allow them access to the store from 9am to 10am on weekdays.
But we have some great news for Aussie shoppers.

With the implemented changes allowing exclusive shopping time for Executive Members each day, 9honey can confirm these changes are not being implemented in Australia.
"The recent news regarding exclusive Executive Member access from 9am to 10am only applies to Costco warehouses in the United States and Canada," a spokesperson for Costco Australia confirms.
"This initiative is not applicable to Costco Australia.
"Our warehouses will continue to operate with our standard opening hours for all members."
So, if you hold a Gold Star or Business membership, there is no need to panic.
The news comes just a few months after it was announced Costco was partnering with DoorDash to allow Aussies to order their favourite products from home.
The partnership was announced in February, with DoorDash explaining on its website: "Australians can access Costco's wide selection by downloading the DoorDash app and searching for Costco on the platform.
"Customers simply add items to their cart, choose a delivery time that suits them, and enjoy the benefits of bulk shopping without the heavy lifting."
But while many were pleased with the service, some took issue with the fact non-members could now make purchases on the DoorDash app – without buying a pricey Costco membership.

Costco Australia declined to comment at the time, however its website explained that membership is the best value for money as "Costco members access exclusive member only prices, resulting in savings".
Also, the DoorDash delivery is only available to those who live within an hour of Costco in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
