Michelle Obama is back on Twitter as 'hugger-in-chief'

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is the self-proclaimed 'hugger in chief' — and she's used her first tweet since leaving the White House to send the world a virtual hug.
Tweeting again as @MichelleObama, she echoed her husband, Barack Obama's words that the family would be "taking a little break" after 8 years in office.

She added: "Will be back before you know it to work with you on the issues we care about."
The former President also handed over his @POTUS Twitter handle last week to new President, Donald Trump and returned to the handle @BarackObama.
The Obamas are currently in Palm Springs on holiday. The former President was spotted yesterday enjoying a round of golf as he settles back in to normal life.
