First Lady Melania 'flinches' at Donald Trump's touch

People have raised further concerns for the First Lady after a new video appears to show her 'flinch' when husband Donald Trump touches her. 

The footage shows Melania Trump reciting the Lord's prayer at a campaign rally in Florida this week. But when the US President walks past and touches her arm, she appears to flinch and look down before continuing on. 

Jess Deck, who posted the video on Twitter, wrote: "Literally even the slightest touch by that garbage monster makes her flinch".

The controversial footage has got people talking on Twitter, some questioning whether it shows signs of "physical revulsion" or even "PTSD".

However, others have argued the sudden cower might have been related to something else. 

"It is likely fear caused by a controlling gesture. However, it COULD be something else. Unexpected touches make me flinch/jump," a user wrote.

Though, this is not the first time questions have been raised about the state of the marriage between the Slovenian former model and Trump, who were married in 2005.

Last month, another video emerged showing the First Lady at Trump's inauguration ceremony. While he is looking at her, she gives her husband a bit smile but as soon as he turns away, the grin completely falls off her face, leaving her looking much more somber and, some have argued, unhappy.

Stylist and friend Phillip Block also reportedly told US Weekly, Ms Trump was "miserable" in her new role as First Lady and the accompanying media scrutiny that comes with it.

"This life wasn’t her dream. It was Donald’s," he said, adding she was "staying hidden more" in New York's Trump tower.

Another source reportedly told the magazine she was "unhappy with how her life ended up".
