Melania Trump misses out on coveted 'Most Admired' award for fourth year in a row
Melania Trump has missed out on a prestigious award for the fourth year counting, as the first lady was not granted the title: 'Most Admired Woman in America'.
Hosted by analytics company Gallup, the annual poll named former first lady Michelle Obama as the victor for the third consecutive year.
Melania came in third place, securing only four per cent of the 'popular' vote.
The annual poll was conducted via the phone from December 1 - 17, and randomly surveyed just over 1,000 adults to conclude the results.

Gallup, an American company based in Washington, D.C., is renowned for its public opinion polls conducted worldwide.
This year's results revealed Michelle Obama received a tenth of total votes, while Vice President-elect Kamala Harris earned six per cent.
Other high profile candidates for the coveted award included former Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, millennial, new-age progressive Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, and, of course, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

A current or former first lady has been named the most admired woman 57 out of the 71 times the company has asked the question since 1948.
Melania has come in second place to Michelle before, trailing behind her in the 2019 poll.
The former first lady has consistently been among the top 10 most admired women the past four years, but had never placed first.
Ironically, her husband President Donald Trump was named the most admired man of 2020, contrary to his subsequent loss in his second run for presidency of the United States to rival Joe Biden.

It was the first time Trump has topped the list, ending the 12-year run by his predecessor former President Barack Obama.
The pair tied in the poll in 2019.
Trump's win may reflect his popularity among conservative Republican party members, gaining 39 per cent of the total vote.
Forty eight per cent of Republicans chose Trump while Obama received 32 per cent of votes among Democrats and Biden gained 13 per cent.
