She's back! Meghan Markle finally returns to Instagram after her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed

Meghan Markle is back. On social media, that is.

Following a two month online hiatus after it was revealed she was dating Prince Harry late last year, the actress has returned to Instagram to deliver a message.

In a black and white post on Sunday night, Markle sent only 'good vibes' to her 1.5 million followers, standing in her Charlotte Olympia shoes beside the hashtag #nobadenergy.

"Sending good vibes — always in all ways," Markle wrote.

The Suits actress, who met the Duchess of Cambridge in January, has remained quiet on social media since receiving death threats and ongoing abuse when it was revealed she and Prince Harry were dating.

When news of their relationship broke in November, Prince Harry released a strongly-worded statement defending his new girlfriend saying it was "not right" Markle faced so much sexist and racist abuse both online and in media commentary.

While her social media presence has been scarce, the actress wrote a personal essay for Elle UK in December, detailing how she handles racism. Markle, whose mother is African American and father is Caucasian, wrote she once used to question what ethnicity box to tick in primary school but now embraces being a mixed race woman.

As to how she handles online trolls, it appears silence does the trick — followed by good vibes only.
