The Duchess of Sussex, the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister, Pippa Middleton, were all front and centre in the Royal Box on Wimbledon's centre court on Saturday to watch the women's singles final between Serena Williams and Simona Halep.

The Romanian tennis player beat Williams in straight sets, with the entire match lasting less than an hour.

However, it was a moment post-match which got the three women in the Royal Box laughing away, and it's for the most adorable reason.

After the game, Halep chatted to BBC reporter Claire Balding about her first grand slam win on grass, and the royal spectators were brought up in conversation.

"You mentioned in your press conference you were hoping the Duchess of Cambridge would be here today," Balding said.

"So you will get the membership and also get to see your name up on the board and you will also get the royal box where you will probably meet them."

It was Halep's reaction to the statement which had both Duchesses in fits of laughter.

"That’s amazing — I didn’t know that, it is more special now!" Halep admitted.

Meghan and Kate, both 37, turned to one another in fits of giggles over Halep's reaction, clearly finding her joy over her win very sweet.

Later on Halep met the Duchess of Cambridge — who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club — who congratulated the Romanian tennis player on her victory.

Meghan and Kate's appearance and Wimbledon marks the second time the Duchess duo have attended the tennis competition together.

The two Duchesses made their first appearance together in 2018, just weeks after Meghan and Harry's wedding to watch Serena play in the final.

It seems this may be turning into an annual outing for the pair — and we're totally here for it.
