Married at First Sight 2019: The one thing Heidi's begging Mike not to do

Thanks to Talking Married's resident spy, Heidi, we've seen inside the flat of every other couple in the Married at First Sight experiment.

However, on Wednesday's episode of the popular MAFS talk show, we finally got an exclusive peek into the home she shares with husband Mike.

During their apartment tour, talk quickly turned to the growing scruff on the electrician's rugged face.

"I want to talk about this beard," he said in a serious tone.

"It's really itchy, I feel like I look scruffy."

Heidi pointed out that there are other grooms in the experiment who rock facial hair, and that she personally digs the look.

"They've all got it kind of trimmed and this is just wild," he complained.

Begging him not to shave, Heidi said "yeah, that's how I like it, wild!"

Eventually admitting defeat, the curly-haired Queenslander reasoned that it was Mike's choice.

"It's your body, you can do with it what you want, I just want to enjoy it for one last minute," she told him, both agreeing that he would shave it off the following day.

Aside from holding meetings about facial hair, we got to see what else the couple got up to behind closed doors.

According to Heidi, Mike loves to "blast" music at all hours, and the pair even joked about having a dance party to annoy Jules and Cam who live directly below them.

"They'll be able to hear for sure," Heidi mischievously said.

The bubbly bride has been bringing us exclusive content from the MAFS residences for weeks now, and took a moment to debrief with her husband about her apartment building adventures. 

"It's really funny picking up the energy in everybody's different units," she told him.

"We have the best apartment out of everyone," she surmised. "The lighting's good, I love our furniture the most. You totally got the best wife too, how lucky are you?"

While we think Mike is super lucky to have Heidi, but he can’t wait to be done with the relationship, according to Jessika.  

During Wednesday's dinner party episode, the Perth model claimed that Mike planned to dump Heidi at the vow renewal ceremony.

Despite Mike dismissing the story as untrue, Jess stood by her words during her appearance on Talking Married, which aired live directly after the confrontational dinner party episode.

"He told me previously coming into that dinner party that he had a boring date with Heidi. He thought that she was boring, and I think Heidi's a beautiful girl, she deserves way better," Jess told the panel.
